John David Mueller

Hi, I am John David Mueller.

I am a 2009 of Grace Theological Seminary, obtaining a Master of Divinity degree in Pastoral Studies. I am originally from Ripon, California.

I have a younger brother that has completed his bachelors degree in History, specifically studied “Fox’s book of Martyrs”. Currently he is moving to pursue his Master’s Degree in History in the spring. I grew up in a christian environment both of my parents are Christians. I do not remember a time that I did not go to Church. It was an blessing especially when God grabbed me out of the fire. By his grace He called me and transformed my heart.

From 1st grade through high school I was homeschooled. My family lived in San Jose, California and then moved to Ripon, California when I was 12. I graduated high school at the age of 15 and started college. In 2006, I graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in Psychology from California State University Stanislaus. My life was at a crossroads at this point. I had a choice, pursue a graduate degree in counseling or go to seminary and risk all that I held dear. My idols have continually been broken as God has shown me that His Holy Spirit guided the choice that I made. By His grace alone I am alive spiritually and physically.

As a child I went to a Non-Denominational church–Peninsula Bible Church Cupertino. In my teens and college years I was part of a Grace Brethren Church in Ripon, California–Ripon Grace. Also during this period I was involved in a church plant in Manteca, California called Common Ground. I served for one year as a Youth Coordinator at Christ’s Covenant Church in Winona Lake, Indiana.

My interests are: The Holy Spirit, John Owen, Depravity, Youth Ministry, the Pastoral Epistles.
